Ralph Ford is a man of God for this time. There is no doubt he is an anointed singer, but is also an anointed teacher of the Word of God. It has been said "he teaches with a simplicity that even a child can understand." He believes God has afforded him the opportunity to sing, teach and preach the gospel to prepare individuals for the soon coming of Jesus Christ.

Raised in a musical home he was subjected to all styles of music, mainly, gospel, some r&b, jazz, Negro Spirituals, and hymns. It is obvious to the listener of his music that he has the dynamic ability to transition from one genre to another with masterful precision and ease.

Minister Ford is an ordained Elder, a singer-songwriter, producer and director. He started his own quartet at age 12 and arranged many of the songs. He started directing the youth choir at his church at age 14. He has served as Minister of Music for over 20 years at the Magazine Street SDA Church in Louisville, Ky. He is married to the lovely LaTonya Ford and has three children, Nicol, de-Evelyne, and Carrie.
 

He is at present walking in his new ministry, "4 Lyfe Ministries" where he tours, promoting his cd and preaching/teaching the gospel. His minisistry is unique as he explains how God has moved him from misery to ministry.From being sexually abused as a child, drug addiction and divorce " I owe God the Highest Priase."
 

He is keenly aware of his responsibility in the selection of music and teaching. He states, "it must be scriptural, meaningful, hopeful, and relevant".
His debut project "Coming Again" was released April 14, 2007. It comprises music from several genre's, but one theme is constant, the gospel of Jesus Christ.
